ABOUT ME
I am a Danish artist, born in the heart of Russia’s Ural Mountains, and a self-taught painter with a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. Art has been an essential part of my inner world since childhood, shaping how I experience and connect with both myself and my surroundings. While my professional path led me into the field of language and culture as a teacher, painting has remained a vital and defining part of my identity.
Growing up in the culturally rich and contrasting landscapes of the Urals has left a deep imprint on my artistic voice. This duality is reflected in my work, where I move intuitively between bold, vibrant colors and softer, more subdued tones — exploring the balance between energy and stillness.
My practice spans both abstract and figurative painting, often combined with a playful exploration of mixed media. Although canvas is my primary surface, I am drawn to experimenting with objects such as jars and pots, allowing art to extend beyond the flat surface and into more tactile, everyday forms.
I find inspiration in nature, cultural diversity, human connections, and the work of other artists. My paintings become a meeting point between inner emotions and outer impressions — a visual language where memories, atmospheres, and fragments of experience are woven together.
Through my work, I seek to capture the magical, the dreamlike, and the unexpected. I have participated in several exhibitions in Denmark and internationally, and I continue to explore new ways of expressing the poetic dialogue between imagination and reality.
My paintings are now part of both private homes and a wide range of companies and organizations.
